The Talaria Sting L3E road legal TL60 is an electric motorcycle that’s designed for the 125cc rider market. It’s similar to the off-road Sting, but with modifications to make it legal for the road: 

  • Speed: The Sting L3E has a restricted speed of 30 mph, and can be ridden on an AM license. 
  • Braking: The Sting L3E has an upgraded braking system with larger disc sizes and a finely-tuned brake system. 
  • Display: The Sting L3E has a new TFT digital dash display unit. 
  • Lights: The Sting L3E has a road-legal headlight and taillight. 
  • Other features: The Sting L3E has indicators, mirrors, and a numberplate bracket.

The New 2024 B L3E Road Legal (Sting R TL60 L3E) is designed for the 125cc rider market. Comes with more road defined tyres and full power. The Sting R L3E is another road-legal version of the Sting that has a number of upgrades, including: 
  • Motor
    The Sting R L3E has an air-cooled motor with a nominal power of 3.5kW, which is a 33% increase from the original Sting.
  • Battery
    The Sting R L3E has a 45Ah battery, which is an 18% increase from the original talaria sting l3e and provides a longer range.
  • Suspension
    The Sting R L3E has an upgraded suspension with a wider range of preload and rebound adjustment.
  • Seat
    The Sting R L3E has a new, more comfortable seat.

The Sting L3E Road Legal model adds the ability to legally ride on the road, as the bike is homologated to the R L1E category, equivalent to a 125cc mMotorcycle. The addition of a larger OLED multi function screen, road legal headlight, reactive brake light, mirrors and the indicators too. Finally, the Talaria STING R L3E boasts a Tail Tidy style number plate holder as standard, which was often the part that was modified on other brands.
